Parametrix led the BIM and Information Management for SEGRO V-Park Grand Union, a groundbreaking multi-level industrial development, ensuring seamless project delivery and robust handover information for the building lifecycle.
Delivering a complex, multi-level industrial scheme like SEGRO V-Park Grand Union came with several key challenges. We navigated software interoperability issues across the design team and wider supply chain, ensuring consistent coordination and data exchange. Standardising IFC formats and aligning information workflows was essential to maintain data quality throughout the project.
Additionally, we supported the coordination of intricate construction activities on a constrained urban site while meeting stringent information requirements to ensure the building was fully prepared for long-term asset management.
As BIM and Information Manager for Glencar Construction, Parametrix implemented advanced digital workflows to ensure seamless delivery of SEGRO V-Park Grand Union. We coordinated design teams and the supply chain to meet complex information requirements, applying rigorous clash detection and standardised IFC processes.
